What Should I wear to a pilates reformer class?

You should wear clothes that fit to your body type. Leggings and spandex tights, sports top and sports bras. Leotards are highly recommended so you don’t have to fuss with your clothing during the exercises.

how often should i take pilates classes?

It is recommended to take 3 classes per week to keep your body familiar with the movements, to keep the muscles conditioned, and to maintain your correct posture.

what should i be eating when taking pilates classes?

I will give you a whole wellness plan upon signing up for your classes so you don’t have to worry if you are eating the correct things or not.

does pilates make you lose weight?

Pilates will definitely tone your body with consistent practice. You will need to keep track of what you are eating and daily activities. I provide all of this for you in the classes.

Is pilates safe for pregnant women?

Yes, Pilates is safe for pregnant women. The exercises are modified to cater to women who are pregnant so they can remain strong through their pregnancy and have a healthy delivery.

why should i do pilates?

Pilates is safe for everyone to do. It targets the smaller muscle groups that keep us strong and upright as we get older. Here at The Pilates Traveler, I promote and create whole-body-wellness while aging comfortably strong and Pilates helps me to do that for everyone that comes to my classes. I believe you should do Pilates if this is something that you are interested in remain mobile as you age.
